SINOPSE/SYNOPSIS
Ester é uma mulher que deseja muito engravidar. Após um procedimento cirúrgico, Greta, sua médica de família e amiga de longa data, a diagnostica com esterilidade total. O desejo original de Ester, torna-se assim uma obsessão crescente e ela começa a ter sexo de uma noite com homens, esperando por um milagre. Após o nono encontro casual, alguns sintomas iniciais e um teste de gravidez positivo trazem a esperança de que ela quase perdeu completamente. Quando Greta, que teve a mesma experiência de Ester no passado e nunca teve filhos - descobre a gravidez de Ester, ela fica louca de inveja: ela fará tudo o que puder para que Ester tenha o mesmo destino que ela.

Ester is a woman who has a strong longing to get pregnant. Following a surgical procedure, though, Greta – her family doctor and long-standing friend – diagnoses her with total sterility. Ester’s original desire thus becomes a growing obsession, and Ester starts having one-night stands hoping for a miracle. After the nth casual encounter, some early symptoms and a positive pregnancy test brings back the hope she had almost completely lost. When Greta - who had the same experience as ester in the past and could never have children - gets to know about ester’s pregnancy, she becomes mad with jealousy: she will do anything she can to make ester face the same fate as her.
